After undergoing a huge bad beat defeat the following year as well, Andy wasted 5 years as a Buddhist of all things. When he made his return to the poker ring in 2004, Andy came back with a noise. He performed incredibly well in the tournaments of his Irish home, and placed fifth in the 2005 World Series of Poker and taking home almost $2 Million. Andy Black continues to play like a champion.
