Many analysts and players believe that the game of poker is slowly dying; that the game itself has reached a climax and has been nothing more than a fad. Well if you look closely at the stats, one realizes that not only is Poker on the rise, the game is here to stay and will be apart of world hobby for years to come.
With countries like Sweden and the U.S. leading the charge, other countries are following suit. Southern Europe has yet to be exposed to the game of Texas Holdem the way the rest of the world has, and it is only a matter of time before they all catch the fever.
The world loves to gamble and what better way to enjoy a bit of gaming than firing up some burgers, cracking open some beers and have the guys over for a night of poker? Already a major part of American pop-culture, poker has been on the rise since it was televised on ESPN, with the final table of the WSOP main event showcased.
